Got questions? We’ve got answers! Here are some of the most common things customers ask about ordering, customizing, and enjoying Hotdog Palate

Ordering & Pickup

1. Can I customize my hotdog?
Many of our hotdogs can be customized with toppings, add-ons, or bread choices. Some signature creations are served as-is to preserve their original flavor. Each menu item includes a note if customization isn’t available.

How to customize: Just write your selections in the Special Request box at checkout. Availability of toppings and substitutions may vary by menu item. We’ll craft them the way you want when possible.

2. What comes with a Palate Deal (Dog Dealz)?
Dog Dealz let you pick multiple hotdogs (two or three) from our menu at a special price. Just write your selections in the Special Request box at checkout, and we’ll craft them the way you want.

3. How do I let you know my hotdog choices for Dog Dealz or custom orders?
When ordering online, simply add your selections in the Special Request box at checkout. Your order will be ready when you arrive! If ordering in person at the truck, just let us know your choices when you place the order.

4. What do I need to pick up my order?

Bring the name on the order and the order number. A confirmation email or receipt also works.

5. What happens if I’m late picking up my order?

Orders are prepared fresh and held for a limited time. Late pickups may affect food quality and are not eligible for refunds.

6. Do you take pre-orders online?

Yes! If online ordering is open for the day, you can order online and pick up at the truck during operating hours.

7. Do you offer delivery?
Not at this time. Hotdog Palate is all about the food truck experience. Orders can be placed online for pickup or in person at the truck.

8. Do you offer catering?
Yes! We cater events of all sizes. Reach out through our Contact page to get started.

9. Can I book Hotdog Palate for a private event?
Absolutely! Birthdays, office parties, festivals—we’ve got you covered. Just send us a message through the Contact page.

Menu & Ingredients

10. Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
We’re expanding our menu to include more plant-based choices. Check our menu for the latest updates.

11. Do you accommodate food allergies?

We take care in preparing our food, but our kitchen is not allergen-free. Please notify us of any allergies when ordering.

12. Where do you source your ingredients?
We believe in quality and freshness. Our meats, toppings, and breads come from trusted suppliers and are always prepared with care.

13. Do food photos always look exactly like what I receive?

Our food photos are for illustrative purposes. While we aim for consistency, presentation may vary based on ingredients, customization, and preparation style.

Payments & Policies

14. What payment methods do you accept?
We are a cashless facility. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).

15. What is your refund policy?
Refunds and replacements are handled case by case. Full details are available on our Refund Policy page, located in the website footer.​

16. Do you ever change your operating hours?
Yes, sometimes. While our standard hours are Monday–Saturday, 12 PM – 8 PM and 10 PM – 1 AM, we may adjust hours for special events, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances. Updates will be posted on our homepage and social media.

17. How do promotions, coupons, & bundles work?

  • Promotions, coupons, and bundles are offered at our discretion and may be limited by time, quantity, or customer use.

  • Misuse of discounts (duplicate use, unauthorized sharing, etc.) may result in cancellation of the order.

  • Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined unless specifically stated.

18. Where can I find your food truck?
Check the schedule section on our homepage or follow us on social media to see where we’ll be rolling next.

19. Do you have a food truck?

Although Hotdog Palate is not a traditional food truck yet, we operate like a normal business at pop-ups, events, and catering. You’ll find us serving from a tent. To keep up with our location, check the Schedule section on our homepage. When you place an online order, the Pickup Address will be displayed at the top of the page. If you have any questions, you can always call us at 678-390-0024.

21. Food Waste Policy

We are committed to reducing food waste. Through our H.U.M.A.N. initiative (Humanity United Means Aiming for No-Hunger), we take steps to responsibly handle surplus food and support hunger relief efforts. Because food is perishable, completed and correctly prepared orders cannot be returned or refunded.
